We believe that BerkelyCare is the only administrator that is not obligated to work with only one insurance company. Currently, we have travel insurance programs in place with Stonebridge Casualty Insurance Company (AEGON), National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA (AIG), Virginia Surety Company, Inc. (VSC), and Fairmont Specialty Group. These relationships permit us to propose a myriad of options, including alternative financial structures.  

This flexibility also affords Berkely, on behalf of our clients, the greatest leverage at the time of program design, renewal negotiation and/or when considering mid-term plan modifications. In addition, BerkelyCare clients are assured that if an insurer were to exit the travel insurance business (as major insurers have done in our recent history) or should a BerkelyCare client desire a change of insurer for any reason, we can utilize another experienced carrier with virtually no impact to their organization.
